Security is still largely organised as though risk moves one lane at a time. It no longer does: a digital approach precedes a physical one, a narrative campaign precedes a reputational attack, a compromised supplier becomes a residential exposure. Ombrex works where these domains meet, and builds protection around the way risk actually moves rather than the way it is conventionally divided.
Ombrex Consulting
is the strategic and analytical function. It covers security architecture, risk and threat assessment, concept and SOP development, project management, intelligence support, and the design of training, including our Hybrid Threat Awareness programme (HTA). The work is to translate an organisation's intentions, exposure, and constraints into a security posture that can actually be operated. What separates it from conventional advisory is straightforward: the analysis is written by people who have run operations of the complexity they describe.

Ombrex Group
is the operational function. Executive and close protection, travel and event security, residential protection, surveillance, protective intelligence in the field, and the selection and coordination of vetted local partners on international assignments. It is delivered by a small, permanent core working with a circle of trusted specialists rather than contractors: tactically prepared, well educated, physically fit, multilingual, internationally experienced, and low-profile, with the social fluency to fit the environments they operate in. Most security firms either advise or execute. Ombrex is built so the two reinforce each other.

About
Ombrex was founded by Björn and Mel. Björn, former Head of Security to a royal household, brings more than twenty years of international operational experience and an MSc in Diplomacy and Security Studies; his applied research focuses on cognitive warfare and the way digital platforms are used to shape behaviour and risk. Mel, co-founder and operational lead of Ombrex Group, is a former member of the Royal Dutch Marine Corps and the Dutch federal police secret service, with senior experience leading protection for a royal household and for private clients internationally. They work with a small circle of trusted partners across the globe.
