Code of Conduct

Code of Conduct

The safety and security of our clients, our practitioners, and the people around them is the first priority of every engagement.

Standards

Every Ombrex practitioner is briefed and equipped to operate in full compliance with local, national, and international law. We maintain consistent standards across private, corporate, and government-related engagements, and we treat ethical conduct as operational discipline rather than aspiration. Discretion and confidentiality are not preferences. They are the foundation of every relationship we hold. Ombrex is committed to protecting the client, their reputation, their data, and their privacy, before, during, and after the engagement. We do not name clients in marketing material, and we do not discuss past assignments in identifying detail.

Cyber hygiene and awareness

We hold ourselves to the same standards of digital and information discipline we advise our clients to adopt. Client information is handled on a need-to-know basis, with secure storage and communication, controlled access, and no retention beyond what an engagement requires. Every practitioner is expected to maintain disciplined digital hygiene, in the field and at rest, including secure devices and communications, separation of work and personal channels, and care with the information that movement, scheduling, and presence inevitably generate. We treat the digital and informational domain as integral to protection rather than a separate concern. The awareness we build into our work, recognising how exposure develops across digital and informational lanes before it becomes physical, governs how we operate as a firm.

What we do not do

Ombrex does not work on engagements that conflict with our legal or ethical standards, that compromise the safety of uninvolved parties, or that require the misrepresentation of capability or intent. We do not operate in environments where the only way to succeed is to compromise these standards. Where an enquiry falls outside them, we decline in writing and without negotiation.
